Dawson came over for his first sleep-over at our house today ...

Day 10

Today we did some things around the house and then went out for "dunch" (very late lunch/early dinner) ...

then LeAnna went to a sleepover at Nana's house with Nana, Aunt Judy and Cocoa! They had so much fun and I have NO pictures of this event, because LeAnna said, "I don't want to hurt your feelings Mommy, but I don't want you there" ...

oh well!

Day 9

Today LeAnna spent the day with Aunt Jen, Dawson and Jackson ... then this evening there was a "JAM Session" - which is her kid group at church who met and ate pizza at Snappy Tomato and then went and played putt-putt golf! They had a blast!

Day 8

Today LeAnna drew her new adventure for next week! She first drew a "Mystery Monday" ... and I had to have her put it back and draw again ... I have a client and a doctor's appointment on Monday ... so she drew again - and got "Fun Friday"!

Then from the Fun Friday box ... she drew "Have a Summer Party and Invite Friends" ... so we have a party to plan for next week!

Day 7

Report Cards came out today! LeAnna made honor roll all year ... yea! So as a treat, I took her to the bookstore to buy a new book and to Claire's (head band world as she calls it) ... and this is what we ended up with ...

She decided on a new hat ... and a new bible!

I didn't argue ... the hat was on clearance ... and you never argue with a child who wants to purchase a bible!

Day 6

Today was "Tasty Tuesday" ... our first adventure of the summer! The card told her to "fix lunch with Mom and invite friends to the park to eat and play" ... well ... we "almost" did that ... LeAnna had invited several friends to come along and some of them had prior commitments ... so she enjoyed the afternoon with Brayden and Miquela ... and as far as us getting in the kitchen and "preparing lunch" ... well ... she decided that she wanted to fix "Wendy's" instead ... ha! They enjoyed the afternoon at Red Caboose Park in Bellevue.

LeAnna had a friend over after church - Kaitlyn ... they played all afternoon in the playroom ...

This afternoon, we remembered we had not drawn our adventure for the week - our first one!

So ... she did ... and ... she drew a Tuesday ... so out of the Tasty Tuesday box, she drew a card that said ...

"decide on a lunch to prepare with Mom ... fix lunch for friends and invite them to the park"

So ... Tuesday ... that's what we'll do this week!

Day 3

LeAnna went to Granny and Papaw's house today and spent the night!

Daddy took her 4 wheelin' in the woods (which she didn't care for too much) and she played with the new kittens in the garage!

She loves going to Granny and Papaws house!

LeAnna slept in ... rriiigghhhhttttt ... gonna take awhile to get her "inner clock" to change ... she was up at 8am ... oh well ...



I had a client today at noon that lasted until 3p - so I knew she would be bored ... so her only request today was to go to McDonalds for breakfast (pancakes) ... to which I obliged ...
