Day 41

Today was "Tasty Tuesday" ... and LeAnna got to pick a tasty place to eat and invite friends ...


today she chose the "Barlar Bunch" ...


We went to Red Robin and then the kids played in the "rest area" in Nashville West ... while the "Mom's" got to chat ... it was a nice afternoon!

Day 40

It was all about errands today ... McDonalds, bank, Target, grocery store ... not exactly perfect entertainment ... however, we enjoyed being together - just LeAnna and Mommy ...

Day 39

Today was "Island Castaway" at church ... our "Super Church in the Big Church" ... AND it was Friend Sunday ... our whole auditorium and platform was transformed into an island ... it was so very cool! And the kids loved it! The whole service was about them! LeAnna, Kaitlyn and Dawson also sang as a trio (first time) during the service ... it was very good, very moving, and yes - tears were shed! I was very proud ... and they were too afterwards ... there were some tears of their own shed prior to today - convincing them to do it ... but they did and they're glad and so am I! Very proud!

Also, Nana came as LeAnna's guest today for Friend Sunday ... she had invited 5 others and they were not able to attend ...

Day 38

LeAnna went to the zoo today with J.A.M. from church ... they had a blast! Some pics were taken, but I don't have them yet ... I'll post them when I get them ...

Day 37

A busy day of errands ... getting ready for Island Castaway on Sunday at church ... Aunt Jen did our running with us today so LeAnna and Jackson got to play all day ... well, as much as you can play in a van, in and out of stores! Then to the church for more decorating ... LeAnna, Dawson and Kaitlyn played at the church while we worked.

Day 36

Today was all about errands! We picked up Renee and the "mommy's and girls" went to Tequila's for lunch and then all over town looking for props for our Super Church and Friend Sunday this weekend!

I captured this moment before we left the house this morning ... I heard them laughing like crazy ... and found them tickling each other!

Day 35

LeAnna and Kaitlyn have spent most of the week together this week ... she came home with us again tonight after church ... it's rough being an only child, especially with Mommy working so hard this week ... so Kaitlyn has kept her occupied!

They were playing "gymnasts" when I took these ...

Swimming ... again!

Kate spent the night last night ... they had McDonald's for lunch! ... spent the afternoon in the sprinklers at Nana's and practiced singing ALL evening! =0)

Day 32

Today is Father's Day ... we had Father's Day activities at church this morning ... LeAnna was in her first skit ... the skit was about two little girls chatting on the phone about how their dad's got on their nerves ... but in the end, they wouldn't trade their dad for anyone! ... she did so good ... then the kids sang a song to their Dad's at the end of service ...

Day 31

Today LeAnna went to Taylor Mullinax's birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese with Nana and Aunt Judy in Clarksville ... then swimming at Sylvia's with Kaitlyn

Day 30

LeAnna stayed at Granny and Papaw's last night and today ... Jen and I took the boys and LeAnna to meet their daddy's to eat lunch and then they played in the pool all afternoon at Granny and Papaw's house! It was SO hot today!!!!

Day 29

Today we had Wacky Wednesday's Lunch at the park ...

LeAnna was so embarrassed to be in her nite gown ... however, after a bit she was fine and playing!

We had Lucky Charms and Fruit Loops with doughnuts ...

There were 14 of us!!! AND it was SO VERY HOT!!!!! Oh my ... thank goodness for the cooler full of ice and water!!!

It was definitely wacky eating breakfast for lunch in our pj's!

Thanks to our friends for being "wacky" with us today!!!!

Day 28

Today was "Wacky Wednesday" ... her card told her to do the following ...

"eat supper for breakfast, eat breakfast for lunch at the park with friends in their pj's, and eat cake for supper!"

Well ... we were able to do it all except for the lunch ... we got rained out ... however ... we're doing Wacky Lunch tomorrow ... which is REALLY wacky having "Wednesday's lunch on Thursday" ...

She had ham, cheese and crackers for breakfast ... I offered spaghetti ... she's just couldn't do it ... so that's why she ended up with the "lunchable"

... and she was so disappointed that lunch got postponed ... after explaining that lightening and parks don't mix ... she was better!

Aunt Jenn called and invited her over for the afternoon ... so I made cake and sent home with them for supper!

Day 27

LeAnna was so excited that Nana and Aunt Judy were home ... we met them for breakfast and then LeAnna spent the rest of the day with her Nana ...

Day 26

Nana came home from Alaska today!!! We picked the crew up from the airport and took them to the Cheesecake Factory to eat dinner ...

Day 25

Was at church for both services ... but in between LeAnna had a rare afternoon - alone!

I found her laying in the middle of the living room floor looking at pictures ... of her schoolmates from last year ... she sure loves school and misses her friends ...

Day 24

Today was SO busy and we were gone all day long ... and without the camera ...

LeAnna did errands with Daddy this morning and then we had a church service to attend that lasted all afternoon in Charlotte, Tennessee ...

Had dinner with friends and then spent the evening with Granny and Papaw.

Day 23

Today is Papaw's birthday ...

We celebrated this evening at Longhorns in Rivergate ...

Day 22

Today was "Thoughtful Thursday" ...

LeAnna's card that she drew out of the Thursday box said to think of something thoughtful to do ...

She decided to invite her Sunday School Teacher to lunch and invited Kaitlyn to go along too ... they are both in the same class at church ...

They let Sis. Evance choose the restaurant ... and she chose Tequila's Mexican Restaurant ... which just so happens to be LeAnna's favorite place to eat!!!

The girls made her home-made cards to show how much they appreciated her as their teacher and we had a very yummy lunch!!!

It was a very Thoughtful Thursday!

Every Wednesday evening at church, LeAnna attends J.A.M. ... it stands for Jesus and Me! They have so much fun ... here is some of the group from tonight ...

Today LeAnna wanted to make a cake! So I let her ... she actually made it herself ... dangerous and heavy stuff were supervised by Mommy ...
